IT Support Engineer

Essential is looking for a degree educated IT Support Engineer to offer email and telephone support to its blue chip customer base. You will have 2 years server based experience, be a patient, calm individual with a logical approach to trouble shooting and able to multi-task and work as part of a busy team. This is a great opportunity to join a proactive company and gain experience of working with a variety of leading-edge technologies and interesting customer projects. Core skills should include a combination of:

  • Windows 2003/2008 Server
  • Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007/2010
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Active Directory

Preferable but not essential:

  • Microsoft SQL or Oracle
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • IIS
  • HTML
  • Scripting
  • Email archiving products
  • Virtualisation
