A recent major survey by Accenture and the Economic Intelligence Unit has revealed that most firms plan to increase their IT spend in 2010 - with a strong focus upon controlling the costs of their IT projects. Furthermore the survey showed that 28% of UK companies required not only a higher rate of return from their investment due to the recession but also that 32% of firms want to measure the benefit and value of their IT investments before investing in the project.
