Digiscope
DigiScope® is an email discovery and recovery tool for Microsoft Exchange.
It can interrogate online and offline Exchange databases and PST files to discover and retrieve information without the complexity of a Microsoft Exchange recovery group or server.
DigiScope can drill-down directly into the raw database—without the need for a live Exchange server environment — and can even search inside many common documents attached to e-mails, enabling you to:
- Locate and recover specific mailboxes, folders, messages, contacts, appointments, conversation threads etc.
- Find messages or track communications from current or previous users
- Recover an entire Public folder, or specific items within a folder
- Retrieve e-mail items that have become corrupt.
- Move mailboxes from a failed server to an alternate server
- Restore mailboxes without the overhead of brick level backups
- Export found items into a legal hold container for further review
The intuitive Microsoft Outlook based interface allows for rapid navigation to any location within an Exchange database or PST file, and provides drag-and-drop restores of the desired mailboxes, folders, messages, contacts, schedules and other e-mail items directly to a production Exchange server or exported to PST, MSG, and XML formats.
Data that has been backed up via any 3rd party archive/backup solution can be restored to an accessible location and then browsed or searched for fast and easy information retrieval. Data backed-up with DigiVault is even easier to retrieve—DigiScope can directly access DigiVault’s up-to-the-minute data protection repository- to rapidly retrieve the latest information. External PST files are also accessible and multiple files can be mounted and searched at the same time.
