Metalogix to Mimecast Migration
Ashfords LLP, a leading law firm and provider of professional services, is to work with Essential migration services for a second time to move its email records.
This time, it will be switching to a cloud-based service from Mimecast.
An early-adopter of email archiving technology, Ashfords LLP originally implemented the ZANTAZ EAS solution but later moved to a solution from Metalogix in order to ensure on-going support and future compatibility with its Microsoft Exchange environment.
Its staff’s mailbox archives will now be moved into the cloud where they will sit alongside the company’s existing email journal and other email services offered by Mimecast.
Mike West, Head of IT at Ashfords, explained:
Accessibility to our email archives is essential and we need to need to ensure we manage their lifecycle over a long period of time. This made a timely and accurate migration a vital part of our plans as we evolve our business critical services.
Essential will be delivering the service using migration technology from TransVault, for which it is European Partner of the Year.
